I *am* a member of one of the P2P sites, but most of my work is coming from a commercial production company. They like my work, so they send a lot to me. Pretty cool, huh? :)
You're quite welcome for the referral. :) I know Joe will enjoy the class.
To answer your question, I'm doing well. Probably doing an average of 15 to 20 spots a week! Just did 5 this morning. :) Thanks for YOUR part in my career, thus far!
It would be awesome to be on your database, email as follows: akwandering_lady@yahoo.com. Yes the puppets were a blast! Definitely the kids that I never had tee hee. Thanks for the "friending". Blessings:)
I am interested in being a voice for an animation feature. I would like too know the homework necessary for L.A. and the homework necessary for Chicago, Illinois.
Do you know any connections available for an informational interview? I am writing a business plan for my V.O. business and I would like to know.
Hi, I am trying to find someone in the LA area to coach me for animation and video game work. I have done industrial, psa and radio spots, but I have not been able to get the job when I have got auditions for network cartoons and national commercials. I think I need to work with someone. By the way I am 15 years old. I saw your profile and wanted to see about you coaching me.
Thanks
Alexis
Hi Dan---yes did a DVD entitled "Marketing Yourself in Voice Over"--It was shot in a classroom setting. With students asking questions and pitching themselves and tons of helpful tips--- check it out on my site. It's now reduced to $15 as I want people to have it. Here is the link. Thanks for taking on this BIG subject.
I know you’ve been a member of Voiceover Universe for some time, but I wanted to introduce one of our groups to you.
I hope you'll check out and join a group called MARKETING FOR FUN AND PROFIT. It's a group dedicated to discussing ways we can market ourselves - what works; what doesn't. You’ll find some very interesting ideas and concepts there! And we would appreciate your input. Click here for the link: MARKETING FOR FUN AND PROFIT!
Thanks for your time! I trust our paths will cross soon!
M J: Thought it would be interesting to collect the top recommended Pro Tools plug-ins used by voiceover home studio users. My list would include: BNR, Normalize, and EQ 3. When you are putting your money where your mouth is, what plug-ins add real value? Share and enjoy! Al
Thanks for memtioning my techs for animation--yep I love that one--- i get out of bed as a new person and voice everyday. SOOOOOOOO MUCH FUN-- CU at VO 2010.
Have some great holidays!
Hi MJ! I was thinking about you yesterday when I was being interviewed by James and Penny on their monthly teleseminar. What a wonderful call it was!! I mentioned your technique/suggestion of getting out of bed...in character. LOVE that! Tomorrow, I'm getting out of bed as the character: ".. painfully-math-phobic entrepreneur who's stoked that she's making sh-t loads of money, but who's also just realized that she probably owes $250,000.00 in taxes." :) I miss you! Sorry our paths don't cross more often and I hope you'll be at Voice2010 and we can maybe get more acquainted. xoxo Max
I'm seeking a voice acting coach for animation, games, and the like. Are classes available via phone, or do you know of people in Houston who offer classes?
Sounds great to me! I know some great seafood restaurants in CT. I'm sure we could have a very "animated" time together! Speaking of which, I have a youtube video of me running through some character voices. If you're ready for a 3 minute laugh, check it out!
Hey MJ,
Doing good. There is work in Farsi that I've gotten, but I noticed it's mostly narration. I don't have an agent yet, so I'm not an video voicebank, so it's not as much as one would think. Shabnam has a new project called 1001 Nights. Are you casting it? It looks cool. Much liked Mixed Nutz, but with an ancient genie kind of vibe. Hope you're well.
