Don Pardo was the "other Don" who were idols of mine, back when I thought about being a VO talent. Of course, the "other Don" I'm talking about is the late, great Don LaFontaine. Pardo went all the way back to the classic radio days, where he hosted "The Eddie Cantor Show", among others. What an inspiration he was! And, although it's sad to lose him, he still lived one helluva long, productive life. R.I.P., Don Pardo, thanks for the memories.
