Condolences to Rene & Pat Fraley on the loss of their eldest son," Pappy."

Being a father myself, and having to see my children pass on before me is unfathomable. It hurts our hearts to hear what Pat is going through. Our deepest condolences go out to you, Pat and your family. GOD bless you.

Pat Fraley is widely known as an awesome talent, great coach, servant of others and overall unselfish person. Sometimes life can be so unfair to people that give so much of themselves, especially in this case....

Pat shared this with us on facebook.

Dear Beloved Extended Family,

I have some sad news. My eldest son, Pat, AKA “Pappy” died yesterday. He died of an overdose. He was 24. Although Renee, I, and his brothers grieve deeply – and I’m being bold as my son always encouraged me to be, Pappy knew Christ, and he awaits us in heaven; a place of no pain and no tears, but tears of joy. Just knowing you are sorry for our loss is abundant and a blessing. If you pray, please pray for Renee and me to have the strength and grace to comfort Pappy’s brothers.

With Gratitude,

Pat

I don't think any parent is prepared - or can be prepared for something like this. Our faith in God's love is the only pillow upon which our heavy hearts can lay. Our heartfelt hope that this will give you comfort and that you may know His blessings in this difficult time -

To the Fraley Family: Having been through this I can only say that what experiences you shared with your son and the lessons taught to him and what he taught you are to be cherished. Remember them and he will always be with you.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son and whosoever believith in him shall have life everlasting" John: 3-16

Our Prayers are with you.

Dear Pat,

May you find comfort and peace in His grace. "In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you." ~ John 14:2 Our prayers continue to be with you and your family.

Words escape me...

But thankfully God hears the unspoken prayers that dwell deep in my heart and in the hearts of all those who share in your grief and ask for sweet blessings to your family.
