HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
--In 2009, I voiced a character in the 20th Century Fox animated movie, "The Dolphin--Story of a Dreamer," which debuted in theaters worldwide in 2009, and was released on DVD December 2010 (see Internet Movie Database). The movie was selected as one of the top 20 prenomimated films in the "Best Animated Film Feature" category, reviewed by the Oscar Academy for the 2009 Awards.
Since 2005, I have professionally voiced for ads in movie theaters, answering service messages, radio, and TV commercials, as well as two fictional audio books for Action Audio.
--Writing voice-over script comes naturally to me and is a definite plus, as it can easily come with the package for each project.
--Voice over training by Clio and Tony Award winning instructor Dan Levine (2005).
RECENTLY BOOKED PROJECTS
During 2010, I provided the senior female voice for a national TV commercial for OneLife Insurance, as well as the voice of an animated character on the Web site for the national American company Sheetz. During summer 2009, I completed the narrations for two audio books for Action Audio, each 200+ pages. In spring 2009, I provided the voice for an upscale furniture commercial (30 sec) for a local TV station in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In summer 2008, I voiced a movie theater commercial (as spokesperson for Palm Beach Neurological Center) that was promoted by Widescreen Creative Media in movie theaters throughout the West Palm Beach area. I have also provided my voice tracks for phone messaging systems, and in February and March 2008, I was featured on talk radio station WJFK (106.7 fm) in the Washington D.C. metro area, providing commercial voice overs for such sponsors as Verizon Fios and Jiffy Lube.
North American English
My mature voice talent (voice over) is on the deep and warm side--perfect for a variety of voice overs, including on-hold messaging or phone greetings--as well as clear, professional, and smooth--ideal for narrations and audio books. I can also sound light hearted, for commercials or any kind of voice-over work, depending on the audience and your needs.
DIALECTS, Character voices and vocal impressions
--Have voice a character (a wise woman whale) in a recent animated movie: The Dolphin--Story of a Dreamer.
--Can easily voice a native New Yorker.
