9.9.2009: Dave covered this on his blog a couple months ago, but I thought I'd give it a little push here as well.
I did a feature article on my "Voice Actors in the News" blog about the upcoming Focus on the Family Radio Theatre production of C.S. Lewis' "The Screwtape Letters" starring Andy Serkis (Lord of the Rings Trilogy, King Kong) as the voice of Screwtape:
10.15.2009: I was very surprised and thrilled to find a review copy in the mail today from FOTF. I'm through the first disc and it's fantastic so far. Hearing it as an audio dramatization is infinitely more entertaining than reading the book. And hearing the performances -- the vocal inflections and phrasing of sentences has actually helped me better understand the psychological and spiritual aspects Lewis was attempting to convey.
I'm also scheduled to do a phone interview with one of the producers next week. Once I've finished listening to the production and conducted my interview, I'll be doing another feature for my blog. In the meantime, here's a press release FOTF sent me:
