Hi Randy, I just wanted say how much I appreciate what you and Joe did this morning for Mr. Joe Williams. My heart was touched and it is yet another example of how one can step up and make a difference in another's life. I hope and pray that you have great success and most of all, happiness in your life. What a great moment in time! Thank you, Thank you, and Thank you.

Much success to you,

Gene Dixon

"Randy Thomas! The most-wished birthday girl in the world!"

That was my impression of the E.T. read applied to your birthday. Could you tell?

If it's good enough for Don AND it's good enough for RANDY...

For a pre, right now I'm using an Avalon VT737SP. It's a nice box. Definitely interested in the Vox Box, but it would have to come later.

Cheers

Thanks, Randy. I too use a U-87 primarily as well as a 416. I have an opportunity to trade a Soundelux E47 (which I haven't had much luck with) for a Manley. It would cost me about a grand, but it seems it would give me a rich response as compared to the E47, which is just too heavy.

Thank you so much, that is so encouraging coming from one of the greatest "Master Lip Breakers" herself, lol. I really appreciate that. Please give me all the tips that you desire, I want to put together a new demo. Your work is amazing.

Hello all my VU buds! I am so glad to be here and love all the notes I get. I am sorry that I do not get to visit the page as often as I would like.
Work, family and a new puppy have been keeping me crazy busy! "Thanks G-d" as my Grandmother would say!
Wishing you many gigs and may the voice always be with you! Make sure to stay alkaline to avoid all the nasty sickness that is going around. When in doubt even a tall glass of water with a lemon squueezed into it will help your belly stay alkaline!
break a lip!

Hi Randy!

We could use your marketing insight!!!

I know you’ve been a member of Voiceover Universe for some time, but I wanted to introduce one of our groups to you.

I hope you'll check out and join a group called MARKETING FOR FUN AND PROFIT. It's a group dedicated to discussing ways we can market ourselves - what works; what doesn't. You’ll find some very interesting ideas and concepts there! And we would appreciate your input. Click here for the link: MARKETING FOR FUN AND PROFIT!

Thanks for your time! I trust our paths will cross soon!

Best to ya!

Randy: Thought it would be interesting to collect the top recommended Pro Tools plug-ins used by voiceover home studio users. My list would include: BNR, Normalize, and EQ 3. When you are putting your money where your mouth is, what plug-ins add real value? Share and enjoy! Al

Hello Miss Randy.
First of all, thank you for adding me to the great list of friends!
Second, I really need a coach...as I listen to MY demos...then listen to someone elses who's been trained....and it's obvious.....Loren needs training. can we talk more about this? maybe we can talk on skype or some other program.Depending on pricing this may be too soon for me to look into as work as been very slim for us tower climbers. I guess I'm looking for what the ranges are for coaching fees. I am hungry for the top....and won't ever quit trying!
Thank you for your valuable time.
Loren Gursky
