Well you definitely grabbed my attention describing the packaging of the demo-love to see a picture of it-sounded very clever! When I first joined VU I spoke to Lani-extremely knowledgeable and great characters.I'd be interested to hear how the Marc Cashman thing goes. I voiced the only character for game animated by an astounding animator from LA who has done work for Battlestar Gallactica,CSI,Termintaor Sarah Connors Chronicles. This game is going to be great and very funny-that's all I can say for the moment. There will be a trailer for it too. This is kind of a slow part of the year but I did some website narrations, a big Textron narration and small fast gigs. I try to keep this site updated with all the latest ( https://sites.google.com/site/edmacevoice). I just love doing this stuff! Take care Shelly-I'll drop you a line every now and then to check up on ya! Ed : )
I know you’ve been a member of Voiceover Universe for some time, but I wanted to introduce one of our groups to you.
I hope you'll check out and join a group called MARKETING FOR FUN AND PROFIT. It's a group dedicated to discussing ways we can market ourselves - what works; what doesn't. You’ll find some very interesting ideas and concepts there! And we would appreciate your input. Click here for the link: MARKETING FOR FUN AND PROFIT!
Thanks for your time! I trust our paths will cross soon!
Just telling it like it is Shelly. Thanks for your kind words. If I hear of anyone looking for a talented female voice actor,I'll contact you.I'm very serious writing this and am having a hard time as I hear some of your more comical characters voices on the demo! Thanks for your kind words. Ed
I am with StudioCenter right now. They are a nat'l production company with their own talent roster. I have been learning a lot on the job, for sure. My first ISDN session was so nerve-wracking... no one knew it was my first session and I was trying to be all cool like I knew what to expect. :)
Good luck on your L.A. agent hunt!!!
I feel better now. I see other people and they are so "gung ho" and I am not always like that. Like Bob Bergen for example, he exudes this energy and I figured that's the way people are who make it. I know you'll make it Shelly, you have the drive and you're a great cheerleader. Thanks for all the encouragement!
Just got the thing the other day and I'm pretty lazy and have not hooked it up yet. I started a web page and I haven't finished that either. I was so pumped at the conference and lost it when I came home...sigh. I am taking Bob Bergen's class at the end of September, so I'm hoping to be re-motivated. How are you?
Hey girl-- can't believe we missed each other at VOICE. It WAS great! I think I saw you real quick at the networking thing, lost you in the crowd, and couldn't believe I didn't see you again that weekend!
Looks like you're working! Congrats. Who are you signed with these days?
