I have the distinctive honor of Narrator for a project playing The Smithsonian and major museums and aquariums across the US.

It's not every day you get a gig that plays The Smithsonian. I feel that it was an honor to be able to even do it. The project was produced by NOAA's Ocean Today project. It's called Arctic Exploration and is now playing at The Smithsonian Institute and major museums and aquariums across the US at the Ocean Today Displays. All parties involved were really pleased with the outcome and have more projects coming that they want me to record for them.

Hey Elisha, Thanks! There must be a big number of people that visit the museums and aquariums daily. I hadn't thought about that.
Best to you.

We were just there last spring and watched several videos like this one. Your voice will be seeping into more brains that you can imagine! That's great, congrats!

Hey--I was just there yesterday on a field trip with my daughter's school--I heard you! Very jealous--I'd love to get a Smithsonian gig. Congrats!

Thanks Rebecca. The narration was done via phone patch from my studio with the editor of the Ocean Today project at NOAA. It lasted about 30 minutes. We did a few different versions of each segment for editor's choices.

I recorded 24bit 48K with my Sennheiser MKH415 mic through a Lexicon U42S interface that has DBX preamps into my custom 3.2ghz P4 system with Sound Forge 9. I ftp'd the raw audio and they did the rest!

Oh you are soooo lucky, lucky man you! I love this kind of project and hope to eventually do some myself.
How were you directed - if you don't mind me asking?
