Everyone except who lives in a one-horse town, and can walk to work, or the nearest bar, needs a car.

So when I do a car commercial, why do I have to sound and act like a yokle?

Granted, a few car dealers treat their business like gold for the buyer,

But the majority of the commercials are trash talk, and honestly, while I'll prudently do the commercial for prudent funds, I am NOT gonna list it on my resume'.

Who writes this crap? I've read enough scripts to determine that most of the "script writers" couldn't pass a first grade English test. "Grammar" and "Grandma" seem to be mutual terms.

But? I guess that's part of the game, so I'll just continue to bite my tongue, which is easy enough to do, given the grammar presented.
