HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
Started in AM radio 1967 and did radio/TV. In the 80s, I was full time V/O and on-camera doing thousands of radio, TV commercials and narrations. Re-entering now to help pay for my daughter's University tuition.
NOTE: While I have a handful of character voices that I do, most of my work has been narration for industrial programs and documentaries. The remainder has been commercial-political v/o and station imaging.
RECENTLY BOOKED PROJECTS
I record product demonstrations and podcasts for a number of global software companies.
North American English
Chinese (a little); but if you really need a Chinese speaker, ask me about my wife or daughter
My voice can be authoritative, warm, kind, vibrant, intimidating, forceful, happy, melancholy, goofy, melodious, resonant and much more.

hey Steve.. I just purchased a Rode NTG-3 specifically for that 'up close/movie trailer' sound.
I have it off to the side .. maybe 2 inches away from my chin.
Then you need the right copy (which I stole from another guy's demo .. and clips from HULU.) I blasted out the demo to most of my clients and have received some really nice feedback.
The post processing is important.. I use a preset supplied by T-Racks.. which essentially normalizes everything. .then slams it with a medium to hard compression.. a touch of reverb.. and you have a close-talker.. send me a sample of what you are trying to generate (the raw audio). I might get lucky with it.
