HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
Katie Leigh is a popular and talented voiceover actress. She is beloved as Connie Kendall in world’s longest running international radio drama, Adventures in Odyssey.
Other roles she plays include Baby Rowlf in the Emmy Award-winning Muppet Babies cartoon series, Honker Muddlefoot in Darkwing Duck, Sheila in Dungeons and Dragons, Zoe in Animalia, Richie in Richie Rich, Sunni Gummi of Disney’s Adventures of the Gummi Bears, Alex in Totally Spies, Han Solo for Lego Star Wars Padawan Menace, and Zuzu in the Extraordinary Adventures of Poppycat.
Katie is the only person who has given the otherwise silent Dumbo a voice in Disney’s Dumbo Circus. A little known secret is that Katie is the voice of the Maharaja in Spielberg’s Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.
With an exceptional genius for creating children, teen, and character voices, Katie can sound like a grown-up, too. She is heard on corporate and industrial training productions, documentary narrations, commercials, internet websites, and multi-media applications.
Katie is a frequent podcast and radio guest, event speaker, and featured conference speaker.

Hasta entonces un abrazo,
I know you’ve been a member of Voiceover Universe for some time, but I wanted to introduce one of our groups to you.
I hope you'll check out and join a group called MARKETING FOR FUN AND PROFIT. It's a group dedicated to discussing ways we can market ourselves - what works; what doesn't. You’ll find some very interesting ideas and concepts there! And we would appreciate your input. Click here for the link: MARKETING FOR FUN AND PROFIT!
Thanks for your time! I trust our paths will cross soon!
Thanks Katie Dear! I added you as a friend.....................& you are! BTW, I should be on voicehunter.com later today. I'm studying Radio Imaging. I would love to do some animation...one thing at a time, I reckon.
Be Safe ya hear!
Getting my online fix of AIO this morning! Thought I'd say hi. I hope you are well. Trying to find some time to work on some new demos, better ones at that. Blessings to you! "He who loves a pure heart and whose speech is gracious will have the king for his friend." - Proverbs 22:11
Ha! Sorry, so much for my memory. I am shame-faced.
I am laughing at myself. Can you tell it's been a while since I have listened to that episode? There are so many that I have listened to. I loved the historical ones, Pearl Harbor, Manatubo Point, etc. Didn't you play Malanga in that one?
I have listened to you for as long as you have been on Adventures in Odyssey since you on the show. My favorite episode is when Eugene taught Connie how to drive. May God's blessings be lavished on you today.
I can't believe I missed your message when you left it for me. I think it's because I don't check this site very often. Just recently Michael Bell asked me to help him set up a class and now on May 2nd we're doing it. He's teaching animation, interactive characters etc....and I'm jumping in and doing ADR Animation. I decided to ask VU to put an ad up for Michael and checked back into this site. If you know anyone who might want to work with Michael please let them know. You can contact me at email@example.com.
Hope you're well Katie!
In fact after a looooong sabatical, I have decided to teach another class or 2. Oddly enough
about 40 people have approached me in in 08 asking if I would teach and I was sooo
wrapped up in other projects I just couldn't committ. However, I am considering the possibility of teaching
again and would probably work with a partner who does lots of ADR and Interactive.
If you or anyone you know is interested, e me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will add you to the
list. I won't start a class unless I have at least 12 people committed to learning.
