I just got some great news from my good friend and Professional Bass Fisherman/Diver Kim Stricker, that his show "Hook n Look" won a Telly Award! We'll be heading into our 4th season on the Versus cable channel in January so look in when you can. Yes that's me narrating the show.
HOOK N' LOOK IS PRESENTED TELLY AWARD!
In announcing the winners of the 31st. Annual Telly Awards earlier this month, the Silver Council recognized Kim Stricker Productions with one of it's highest awards, a bronze Telly Award, in the "Nature/Wildlife" category. "Great Lakes Bedding Smallmouth", a 2010 episode received the coveted honor. This extraordinary production included rarely seen underwater interaction with smallmouth bass protecting their nests while exhibiting aggression towards intruders and Strike King lures. Shot on location in the crystal clear waters of Traverse Bay, Michigan under no less than perfect conditions.

Danny and I both knew we were capturing something exceptional that day, yet it isn't until you get in the editing studio where it all takes shape. With each episode we produce, the general story doesn't actually take direction until after we've explored the aquatic habitat. No doubt, it's that unique aspect of our program which sets us apart and gives "Hook n' Look" it's edifying purpose. Once we've examined the underwater footage, it's then that the informative scripts and content begin to materialize and soon the complete production and educational theme fully develops.
I must say it's a wonderful feeling to receive recognition for our hard work and we offer the Silver Council our gratitude for the award. We sincerely thank Strike King Lure Company and all our supporting sponsors for providing us the opportunity to showcase our creative efforts. Danny hard at work! Enjoying every minute
In addition, our appreciation goes out to all the viewers and fans that tune in each week to accompany us on our subsurface escapades.
