HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
I'm a writer/editor and announcer for Public Radio in California. Have done documentary narration, local commercials and in-house hotel channel descriptions of local tourist attractions. Want to do more.
You did a fantastic job as the Volunteer Coordinator at VOICE2010. Congratulations! Wish we'd had more "down" time to visit. All the very best to you Sonnie!
I know you’ve been a member of Voiceover Universe for some time, but I wanted to introduce one of our groups to you.
I hope you'll check out and join a group called MARKETING FOR FUN AND PROFIT. It's a group dedicated to discussing ways we can market ourselves - what works; what doesn't. You’ll find some very interesting ideas and concepts there! And we would appreciate your input. Click here for the link: MARKETING FOR FUN AND PROFIT!
Thanks for your time! I trust our paths will cross soon!
Thank you Sonnie proud to be part of your fan club as well and I want to wrk more to!! Thank you for being my friend and looking forward to our furthered success!! XOXO- Marina
Things here in Oregon are very busy. The family business in the midst of a growth spurt. A good thing.
As far as the Voice Acting biz. I'm in the process of converting a bed room into my recording studio. Lot of painting and constructing work space. The closet is going to the sound booth. My goal is to be fully operational by Oct. 1.
By the way the next time I'm in SoCal I must hear you sing and play your guitar.
More Love
Daniel
Great to hear from you! Sorry I've been out of the loop- I got really sick after VOICE ( shook too many hands I guess!) and have been keeping a low profile until this bronchitis goes away.
You were such a joy to meet and I look forward to seeing you when we can! All the best to you, Sonnie!
Hey Sonnie! Back at'cha girl! Seeing you in the morning was the kick I needed to get me going. And you, rockin' nightowl that you are! You were always there with a smile on your face! Thanks for the kind words, I'll consider expanding the CD! Take care, hope to see you soon! Denise (aka Iya and Pricilla)
Yea!!! My rhyming sister is here. Welcome Sonnie!!!
I am having a little pc trouble so I have been away from the boards for a couple of days, but that's okay, I now have my Mac coming to my rescue.
You were a fantastic help at VOICE. I could never have been a rock star without my awesome drummer behind me. You had us all dancing the VOICE beat. We were a rockin' band of people so I hope we get to "jam" together again. The VOICE 2009 tour will be the perfect venue.
The fact that the volunteers WANT to work VOICE again shows how much fun we really had. Now we just have to gather our VOICE groupies to let Penny and James know how much the V.O. community wants an encore next year. We should have people send James & Penny an e-mail or card to show the interest for VOICE 2009 is strong, and growing.
Hi, Sonnie!!
Good to hear from you! I look forward to seeing you again...and will call
if ever I am up in your area! You are absolutely incredible!!

You both were fantastic at VOICE 2010. Maybe we can organize a volunteers' party for the California folks??
