What Jef said. Do you need synchronous 15Mbps when all you're trying to do is best a 256Kbps AAC? Why does it need to be synchronous when only the talent is getting recorded?

So I finally got one of my own, an AKG C414 B-XLS .
My fave studio mic of all time. I've used them for years, but never pushed the button on owning one.

That has now been rectified.

Aftra Goes it Alone on Interactive Contract Negotiation.

From Michael Bell, take a read:

ALERT TO THE VOICE-OVER COMMUNITY
"PLEASE FORWARD THIS TO EVERY VOICE-OVER ACTOR YOU KNOW"

It has come to the attention of the S.A.G. Interactive Committee, that AFTRA is about to negotiate the Interactive contract without the participation of S.A.G.

As you probably know, AFTRA and S.A.G. jointly bargained the Interactive Contract three years ago. Although the joint committees both agreed that RESIDUALS were the number one priority of the negotiations, the AFTR… Continue

Hi Juan!

I know you’ve been a member of Voiceover Universe for some time, but I wanted to introduce one of our groups to you.

I hope you'll check out and join a group called MARKETING FOR FUN AND PROFIT. It's a group dedicated to discussing ways we can market ourselves - what works; what doesn't. You’ll find some very interesting ideas and concepts there! And we would appreciate your input. Click here for the link: MARKETING FOR FUN AND PROFIT!

Thanks for your time! I trust our paths will cross soon!

Best to ya!

Stare at the dog... excellent. Sounds very zen to me. I just got back from my cottage weekend, which was anything but zen but restorative in a different way I suppose...The fairy show is this Australian/ Canadian animated co production called "Pearlie." Basically I'm 2 inches tall and pink and I can fly so I'm having too much fun to call it "work." Doesn't air till 2009 though...sad.
