HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
I am currently the producer for "Voices Of Vision" This was my first time putting together an event, for voice actors.
I have always had a passion for character voices, and I have had a great deal of time to practice in the hallways of my schools. I was a class clown and was always performing at the wrong times. Geesh! I am surprised I didn't take drama classes! Ah... that's right... drama classes started around the same time as puberty! Well I never stopped doing character voices and loved to phone friends using a character voice, just to mess with them. Going to the drive-thru is my favorite! I live in one of the most multi-cultural countries in the world, Canada, which made it easy to have some fun with a bored, under paid high school kid! Boy! The look on their faces when I would roll up to the window!
I graduated from Humber College in Toronto, Canada with a diploma in Radio Broadcasting. It was there that Mr. Robert Holiday told me I should get into character voice over work. I worked a few radio stations but morning shows left me with no time to enjoy life, and the other time slots didn't pay very well, or, were not available.
Over the past 25 years I have worked across North America in the entertainment industry as a host for - game shows, extreme sports events, trade shows, corporate events, night clubs, and live to air events for radio stations.
6 years ago, I decided to commit full time to the voice over industry. I have a professional studio in my home, and a beautiful family that understands and supports my dream.
