HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
(from bio) Starting as an actor in New York, Paul Pape got a break when he was cast to co-star in "Saturday Night Fever". With over 5000 voice-over credits alone in his 34 year career, Paul has been heard in almost every media imaginable, including commercials, narrations, promos & trailers, animated features, television series, feature films, movies of the week and video games. He is considered one of the leading voices in the ADR field (Automated Dialogue Replacement), having worked on over 120 television series and many of the biggest blockbuster movies of recent years. Video game powerhouse Electronic Arts gave Paul an award for both his voice-over and on-camera performance for "Black", a #1 video game that has sold over two million copies in the U.S. and Britain. Other recent credits include promos for the Starz Channel and Fox Sports Network, as well as narrations for industrial clients such as Raytheon and the Boeing Corporation. He was honored when asked to narrate a video for the Hollywood Reporter Key Art Awards, when they presented a Lifetime Achievement Award in tribute to his best friend, the late Don LaFontaine, at the Kodak Theater. Hi Paul,
Thanks very much for helping organize the DLF event. It was very informative.
Lots of great laughs too. Do you do ISDN sessions with clothes on? Looking forward to watching the DVD of Don. Thanks again!
OK... All cheesy moments aside. I have been a VO geek for a long time and have followed your stuff for years. Thanks for the ad. I am not in the "big city" but do welll with the VO stuff. I always accept critiques and suggestions. To have them from you would be an honor.
