Being new do I have to have an actual CD demo w/art, or are electronic files enough?

Hi All, So,do I need the full package to start submitting for jobs? Can I just submit an MP3 or WAVE file. What is the best way to proceed. I don't have much money. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Best, Neen

HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE: Honestly I am not in the Industry yet. I'm here because I'm working towards becoming an voiceover artist. I am an actress. I'm pursuing my 2nd career. So, I'd be greatly appreciative if allowed in. However, if not. Thank you for your time and have a wonderful holiday season.

Oh, could you point me in the right direction for a newcomer? I'm located on the east coast.

The Past Month!!!!

I am so excited!!!! I just purchased a Rode NT1A, a mic port pro and am waiting for my M-Audio monitors. Wow, I'm having a wonderful time just setting up my little piece of heaven. I'm teaching myself Audacity and have 2 workshops scheduled. The learning process has me totally enthralled.
