Hello All,
I've been looking at different recording interfaces to start a home system.
Presonus Audiobox, Firebox, M-Audio USB, Tascam US-144, etc.
I'm leaning towared either the Presonus Audiobox or Firebox. I have an older PC w/no firewire,
but…
I just started my own VO business, but haven't filed anything official, such as starting an S corp or LLC. I plan on this when I'm succesfully working, but for now while I'm in training, can I claim my home VO business on my tax return for next year…
As an industry professional with 30 plus years experiece, I offer this as a place where talent can come for great audition techniques we have all learned over the years as VO actors, agents, and casting directors. We'd love to hear your feedback!
A forum for those burning business and legal questions that voice-over artists face everyday, like, LLC or S-Corp? What is a non-disclosure agreement and do I need to sign one?, Etc, Etc.
Thanks for your note. I'd love to get you signed up. I'm wondering if there's a way you could find the link and copy/paste it to me, so I can trouble shoot it?
Also, I got your message through VU's messaging, so I don't have your email address. Can you shoot me a quick email to John@JohnMelley.com so I can get you on my list?
Thanks!
John

Thanks Nate,
Yep great last name. The lowest I can go on the mic is $300.00.
I trust the Voiceover Universe experience has been good for you!
Also, I hope you'll check out and join a new group that we just started called MARKETING FOR FUN AND PROFIT. It's a group dedicated to discussing ways we can market ourselves - what works; what doesn't.
Thanks for your time! I trust our paths will cross soon!
