HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
I'm a studio engineer working at a major Canadian broadcaster. I'm also an up and coming voice over talent looking to make contacts and learn all I can about the business.
I've been volunteering at VoicePrint, a news service for the blind, for the past four years.
My training has included a couple college announcing courses, as well as improv at the Second City.
RECENTLY BOOKED PROJECTS
-Character voices for MuchMusic's "We're Experiencing Technical Difficulties"
-Volunteer reader for VoicePrint
HI Matt,
Congrats on the new equipment!
One thing to remember when selecting a preamp for a dynamic mic like the RE20 is to pick one with a lot of gain. It takes more to drive a dynamic than a condensor. I don't know if you know Lance Blair or not, but I know he could be a tremendous help to you in selecting a suitable preamp to go with your RE20. I'm pretty sure he's a member here.
Good luck!
John
Hey there, Matt! Really enjoyed getting to meet you in person yesterday. Thanks so much for coming out! I hope we'll get to do that again some time. :) All the best, -- Jodi
