Hayes and Mac are both great losses. I did know Bernie and had an opportunity to sing in a couple of his showcases when I lived in Chicago. He helped a lot of people and inspired even more. He will be missed. I did have a chance to meet Mr. Hayes at a performance once. He was a class act too.

Kurk -

Another life going to waste. Ah, well. I certainly beats working for a living. Every day I can see the sun and my wife's face is a good day. I'm also fond of my kids. So, no complaints.

Good luck on your jourey.

HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
A Texas Native, my influences include the many different voices & accents available in Texas where people from all over the country and the world come to visit, work and live. I have also been influenced by some great broadcasting talent over the years working in and around this medium to large market. I've spent countless hours developing my talent by studying these influences as well as pursuing all types of voiceover projects.
With a strong sales and marketing background my experience and interests cover many industries. I have a great personality and a background in Communications. My main voiceover accomplishments include Radio and TV Commercials, Narration, On-hold messages, Corporate Training and Industrial videos, PSA's, Jingles and Movie Trailer work but no job is beyond my talents.
I trained with Dan Levine, founder and president of Such-A-Voice studios in Burlington, VT who has earned the respect of the industry as a commercial and music producer, CLIO and ADDY award winner, and a 1992 Tony Award nominee for the score of the Broadway Musical, ANNA KARENINA.
