HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
My background is in acting (on camera) in national television commercials for companies such as Nintendo and MEAD. Since moving to Florida from New York, I am trying to transition more to voice and am having a lot of fun. Despite what I have been told, I was able to get some work in a relatively short period. I am looking forward to learning and trying to be more consistent in the quality I deliver.

Yep you hit the nail on the head. Games require a lot more action in the words themselves. We don't get blessed with the overly exaggerrated wonderful Disney or Pixar animation so we have to make up the difference. And of course what I direct and coach is applicable to all other genres. No I'm not trying to sell you anything, but lef me know if you're inspired to try and work together with me. Have a good summer!
Character driven. Yep sounds promising John!
Welcome to VU. You're in good company here!
I wish you the best of success in all your adventures! I'd love you to join my group Ask a Casting Director. There's a lot of useful info that might help you there.
I'm a Casting Director and experienced actor (4 octave range) for Video Games and more. It's a unique genre, unlike any other that requires a lot of differentiation in voices because there are so many parts with so few lines each. It requires a huge vocal repertoire. If you feel you're experienced as a voice actor with a lot of diverse and useable characters, and you can hit the ground running, you can go to my Talent Assessment page. Classes and coaching links are also there, if you'd like more instant help to get where you need to be to land those jobs.
