I'm still fairly new to this but have been working and receiving paying gigs doing promo's, Dj drops and radio station announcements. Mostly through BroadCastingWorld. I've been doing fairly well in a small niche market and thanks to people i've done work for, I have started to gain a reputation i'm proud of! I'm looking to expand my knowledge and experience. A real amateur but willing to learn.

I'm originally from Miami Florida, but recently moved to Tennessee from New York. But it's O.K.! I'm still so southern I'm related to myself!

Well I had to turn down the VO workshop in LA. I wont go due to LA's efforts to boycott Arizona. Sorry that political and ethical issues had to rear it's head but right is right and wrong is wrong. I will not be spending my money in any state that ignores the rule of law or that sides against a state that decides to uphold the law.

My Studio and Recording Booth

Posted on May 25, 2009 at 8:30pm 5 Comments

My new Studio with Recording Booth is finally starting to take shape. I'm including a couple preliminary pics. I'm just waiting on my Acoustic Foam to show up and my new Effects racks. I apologize for the quality of the pics but I took it with my cellphone and its not that great! lol.

Here I setup the basics of the booth, I have a Behringer Xenyx1202FX mixer, which will work in tandem with the Studio mixer board, and a Flat Panel Touch screen. I… Continue

Hullo Campers!

This is too good NOT to share with you all!

Apparently I'm better at Character Voices than I thought. The Character demo I have posted is 100% me, all me, no one but me. But according to Voice123 their not! This is what I received in my email this afternoon...

I wrote them back to let them know that they are all me...nothing but me...100% me!

Wow if I can fool the "So-called" experts...I… Continue

Hi John,
Variety and acting bring you bonus points in my realm.
Welcome to VU. You're in good company here!

I wish you the best of success in all your adventures! I'd love you to join my group Ask a Casting Director. There's a lot of useful info that might help you there.

I'm a Casting Director and experienced actor (4 octave range) for Video Games and more. It's a unique genre, unlike any other that requires a lot of differentiation in voices because there are so many parts with so few lines each. It requires a huge vocal repertoire. If you feel you're experienced as a voice actor with a lot of diverse and useable characters, and you can hit the ground running, you can go to my Talent Assessment page. Classes and coaching links are also there, if you'd like more instant help to get where you need to be to land those jobs.

Stay Super!

it seems to be all resolved, the demo's back up and no one's contacted me one way or the other! I'm not worried about getting an apology or anything. This works out in the long run!

Hi John! Thanks for the add...

The V123 post is just too funny, and kinda sad (for them, that is).

Nice to meet you - see you on the boards,

Click here for the link: MARKETING FOR FUN AND PROFIT!

Thanks for your time! I trust our paths will cross soon!

Best to ya!
