In this business you have to make your Break instead of waiting for it!
You have a good sound so far and you could use some more help as we all can to continue to grow. But understand one thing if your voice can make a sound any sound then you can make it but you have to find your niche.
There is no such thing as a bad voice, there is such a thing as using the wrong vocie for the read for true! Example: You would not want to use 5)Cent to Voice a spot for a Farm Tractor AD But he would be prefect for a Hip Hop Night club Spot. Same with all of us find your niche and focus on that.
To get a Break, when you listen to spots on your station that is produced outside of the station for a local client and you think the spots sucks, RE PRODUCE it in your voice and send it to them, they may bite, offer it to them for free since you already produced it as a trial. Once they air it and come back to you for the next one you just got your break.
Working in a station is a great way to gain new clients as most loacl clients may not know they can pay someone to do their spots after they palce the buy.
