HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
Jenny Hester offers bright, youthful energy and a warm, friendly quality to any commercial voiceover read. A reliable and enthusiastic talent, she delivers a voice that is clear, compassionate, nurturing and real. And she’s got a giggle that kids love. Whether portraying a gregarious teen or opinionated 20- or 30-something, her original vocal quality delivers point of view, best friend, compassionate spokesperson and everyone’s favorite mom. Listen to her reel at JennyHester.com.
Jenny received private coaching from Sound Advice, which offices in Chicago and Los Angeles. Her demo is listed with their partner organization Big House Casting and Audio. She has also received training from Bettye Zoller-Seitz a voiceover talent, coach and audio engineer who narrates voiceover worldwide and is based in Dallas, TX.
Jenny and her husband Jeff live in Oklahoma City where Jeff started the graphic design and marketing firm Hester Designs in 2001. Jenny assists the company with copywriting, layout projects, creative planning and business development.
When it comes to playtime, you might find Jenny enjoying one of her side jobs spawned of pure passion: She is a certified Pilates instructor and a Worship Dancer. She teaches mat Pilates at the Park Harvey Athletic Club and at Victory School of the Arts, where she also studies contemporary ballet. Jenny embraces every opportunity to use her gift of dance to tangibly touch someone with Christ’s love.
Jenny’s been performing since she was five, when the bug bit during her first dance recital. She couldn’t shake the stage, and grew up actively involved in community, high school and collegiate dance and musical theater. She danced with the Inertia Modern Dance Company at Missouri State University and performed in six collegiate dance concerts.

Welcome to VU. You're in good company here!
I wish you the best of success in all your adventures! I'd love you to join my group Ask a Casting Director. There's a lot of useful info that might help you there.
I'm a Casting Director and experienced actor (4 octave range) for Video Games and more. It's a unique genre, unlike any other that requires a lot of differentiation in voices because there are so many parts with so few lines each. It requires a huge vocal repertoire. If you feel you're experienced as a voice actor with a lot of diverse and useable characters, and you can hit the ground running, you can go to my Talent Assessment page. Classes and coaching links are also there, if you'd like more instant help to get where you need to be to land those jobs.
'bout time we got an Okie on here...although we also claim you here in Missouri.
Welcome to Voiceover Universe! You'll meet some old friends and make some new ones around here!
