HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
I did my first VO work about 25 years ago, and have had a few opportunities to do projects since. I recently decided to start working toward doing more work professionally. At this point, it's "learn 'til you drop, then learn some more" mode.
RECENTLY BOOKED PROJECTS
Narration for video documentary on Bill "Icky Twerp" Camfield.
English. While I've studied German, I'm not even remotely conversant!
My motto is "just what you've been waiting to hear". I've always had an ear for mimicry and dialect, so I tend to be willing to try just about anything, vocally speaking. My natural range is mid-to-low baritone/bass, nice warm timbre and a friendly note to boot. (Unless you *want* me to be menacing--it's fun to play the bad guy!)
DIALECTS, Character voices and vocal impressions
I'm a natural mimic--given a sample, I'll try anything. I've done spots with Irish, Scots, various British regions, Australian, German (southern), New England, Cajun, Texan, southern US, and surfer.
I know you’ve been a member of Voiceover Universe for some time, but I wanted to introduce one of our groups to you.
I hope you'll check out and join a group called MARKETING FOR FUN AND PROFIT. It's a group dedicated to discussing ways we can market ourselves - what works; what doesn't. You’ll find some very interesting ideas and concepts there! And we would appreciate your input. Click here for the link: MARKETING FOR FUN AND PROFIT!
Thanks for your time! I trust our paths will cross soon!
Thanks for the add, and for the kudos on my site. I'm actually in the process of re-doing it. It should be finished this week. Same branding, just a little nicer look and feel. I hope you'll check it out!
