HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
Who: Born and raised in London, England. Been living and working in New York since September 2003. I'm a real believer in mind over matter and that you have to laugh and stay positive at all times. I want to keep listening and learning.
How: Started taking voice classes with the great Marla Kirban in New York in September 2005. These continue every month to this day. She, along with Bryant Falk, produced my first demo at the end of January 2006. On March 2nd (my brother Andrew's birthday) that year I signed with Don Buchwald & Associates in New York. My first booking was on the same day - promo's for the History Channel.
Since then I’ve done radio and TV commercials for, amongst others, Land Rover, British Airways, Coca-Cola, Motorola and Gwen Stefani. Also, TV political ads, English-language DVDs and ESL courses for companies including Hooked on Phonics.
And there have been Internet marketing and training videos for Fortune 500 companies, and further TV promos for Cartoon Network (Adult Swim), MTV, AETN International and the History and Biography Channels. I also did a Random House audiobook, Waves, by Sharon Dogar, which got me good professional reviews.
By October 2007 I had installed my home studio.
At the start of 2008, I hooked up with VoX in LA and In Both Ears in Portland. Two radio spots for Honda were my first audition and booking for VoX. It was a spoof of American Idol and we had a barrel of laughs trying to get Simon Cowell’s perceived "arrogance, cockiness and downright rudeness" to shine through in my voice. Actually, I’m surprised how easily it came to me.........Microsoft was my first booking for IBE.
In 2008, I did some TV commercials for TRESemme UK, promo's for MTV, more ESL DVD's, corporate videos for companies including Absolut and Danone. Mid year, I started working with the following agents - Real People in Atlanta, Donna Baldwin in Denver, Talent Group in Cleveland and Pittsburgh and Linda McAlister Talent in Dallas.
2009 has been a crazy ride so far with highlight bookings for IBM, Aquafresh, BBC America, Cartoon Network (Adult Swim) and a huge narration project for Mighty Oak Entertainment not to mention three new audiobooks.

Thanks for the comment. Summer is here and there and all over the place but I am finding time to get out and about.
A new discovery for me is a coastal walk along a golf course from a place called Strathlene to Findochty. The walk ends at The Admiral pub ....It would be the height of bad manners not to pop in.
Best regards
Philip
