I'm not big on Pro Tools, but basically you need some sort of specific hardware interface to work with protools. Essentially you would go DBX out to the MBox and then MBox into your system. There are a lot of people who simply use the MBOX as an A/D/ D/A convertor and use other things like mic pres and channel strips. There are other solutions, but they tend to run a bit more money.

If you want some specifics, there are several groups on VU that deal with specific hardware issues.
