HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
Born with the "gift of gab," voice over artist, vocalist, and lyricist, Elle Boone was suitably given the nickname "Lippy" by her father, Jack, who was a film, TV, and theatre actor. In the 1970's, he had his own television program called "The Jack Boone Show," which aired on KEZI Channel 9, in Eugene, Oregon. The show entertained children with cartoons, jokes, and music, all of which inspired young Elle and led her to her aspirations of becoming a performing artist.
Throughout her adolescence and teen years, Elle sang in school choirs and vocal ensembles. Elle attended Chemeketa Community College, where she studied voice, music theory, theatre, and dance. She then enrolled in the Portland Actor's Conservatory in Oregon. She also studied voice with Grammy-nominated vocalist, Valerie Day of Nu Shooz.
Soon after completing her studies in Portland, Elle moved to New York City to attend the Stella Adler Studio of Acting and the Upright Citizen's Brigade. In addition, she trained privately with voice over instructor, Peter Rofe. It was at this time that she discovered her deep love for the wonderful world of animation. Recognizing her talent, her coach helped her produce a demo to market her skills.
Within a few weeks of shopping her demo, Elle landed her first booking - a Lens Crafters commercial through the Liz Lewis Casting Agency. Shortly thereafter, Elle was cast as the voice of Hailey Horstachio in the XBOX 360 game and cartoon show Viva Pinata, which aired on Fox, the CW, and was syndicated in 18 countries. She has also been cast in an array of TV commercials, on-line video games, and radio spots.
Sweet and sassy, youthful, perky and bubbly, sarcastic, quirky, warm, friendly, playful, compassionate, real.
