HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
WELCOME!:) If you have come to my VU page in search of a voice over coach, then please do not hesitate to contact me:) I would be more than willing to discuss your needs and how I can be of some help, on bringing you to the next level!
I'd like to say how thrilled I am to be in the company of some wonderful and amazing voice-talent here on Voice-Over Universe. The people here have been nothing but friendly, passionate and genuine, It's refreshing to see.
I have had the wonderful pleasure of performing voice overs pretty much my whole life. I had my first "on air" radio experience when I was 13, filling in for my father for a 3 minute commentary on the now defunct 54 Rock in Ottawa Canada.
I was usually the one performing voice overs and reading announcements on my High School PA system. I had my own radio show in college, produced a morning show in Ottawa and have now had the pleasure of performing countless characters in radio, television and web ads all over the world.
I am often hired to perform the intense, spooky and creepy movie trailer voice, which over the years has become one of my signature deliveries. I have had the chance to voice a few big trailers, as well as some wonderful independent films.
I narrated the only two seasons of Final 24 for the Biography channel, which was my first extended narration experience. It certainly was more difficult than I had anticipated, and am glad I have now done it. I hope to do more narration in the future.
I spent 4 years as the network/promo voice of TLN in Toronto, but sadly was let go and replaced by an in-house guy to save on money. The sad reality of the recession. But seriously? Really? an in-house guy? lol. When a door closes, another one opens. I am looking forward to seeing what is behind those doors.
