HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
Voice over has been a dream of mine for 20 years and I finally discovered that I'm not getting any younger. I've performed for Disney, Motorola, Daimler trucks, the American Lung Association, ING Investments, Kaiser Permanente Pharmacy and many others.

As an actor, I continue to hone my skills and receive training as possible - I've trained with Jim Alburger and Penny Abshire (hugs) as well as with Susan Berkley and Rodney Saulsberry, Marc Graue, and David Alden.

Quieting a noisy computer

OK,

So I'm not the blogging type, but I thought this topic was worth the time for your consideration.

I have a home-brewed computer that's about 8 years old - and one of the real pains about computers and many other mechanical devices, it that they create noise.

Hey Dan. I feel bad that I haven't even gone onto this website in months. How very sad it is. I really miss the time when this was such a big part of my life. I noticed a hello from you dated back to January. Sorry buddy, I'm history. Done for the most part. It was fun while it lasted and the best part of VO was the people in the community. This was the best website to keep up to date with the VO world too. I guess it's a long and boring story but in the end it's very difficult to get places beyond the $50 gigs. I've done a few of them this year but I just can't justify the thousands I've poured into it with very little return. I have a great career as a firefighter and have a biz of my own finishing basements and garages on my days off. If a VO gig comes around I'll do it but no more globe trotting taking expensive courses ect. There is a ton of talent out there and you're certainly one of them. I wish you much more success than I have seen! Take care of your self!

Thanks for your concern, Dan - but we are okay here in SO CAL after the shaker yesterday! You just kinda learn to live with the idea that the ground is going to move once in a while! Some after shocks, but no extensive damage or injuries.

Can't wait to see you at VOICE 2010!!! WHOO HOO!!!
