HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
I have trained with some of the most well-respected names in the voice-over industry, including James Alburger, Penny Abshire and Bob Bergen. More recently I studied extensively with John Burr, the foremost voice coach in the Washington D.C. area.
RECENTLY BOOKED PROJECTS
"The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts- The Original Architectural Design." Animated documentary by Severn Design; "A Rock Fan's Journey Into Jazz" podcast for Crawdaddy magazine.
LANGUAGES
English, Spanish
VOICE DESCRIPTION
I have a friendly, expressive and versatile voice. I can deliver a wry, bemused take on a commercial, or a credible, seemingly "expert" take on more technical or instructional material. While I'm a native English speaker, I grew up all over Latin America and can read Spanish copy with a believable "native" accent.
DIALECTS, Character voices and vocal impressions
Most North American English dialects, several UK/Irish/Scottish dialects, German, French, Indian, Hispanic, Italian or Russian accents.
VOICES I AM ABLE TO PERFORM
Senior Male, Middle Age Male, Young Adult Male, Teenage Boy
AUDIO DELIVERY METHOD
ISDN, FTP, AIF, MP3, WAV
EQUIPMENT
Rode NT1-A condenser microphone
Sonica laptop workstation (laptop custom-manufactured for audio work)
Special Equipment:
Behringer BCA2000 USB Interface
Depending on the complexity of the project, I can record with Sonar Producer Edition, Adobe Audition, Adobe Soundbooth or Audacity software.
(note: while my home studio doesn't have ISDN, there are several studios nearby that do).

Hi Jane,
I too learned a lot from John, and consider him a friend as well as mentor. As for my background, I was born in Rio and lived in Uruguay, El Salvador, Guyana and Costa Rica (my favorite!), as well as traveling to almost every other Latin American country (Dad worked at the US Embassy). I get up to DC fairly often (I used to live in Wheaton), so next time I'm up there maybe we can get together for lunch and compare notes.
