HAPPY BIRTHDAY Chuck!! Hope all is well with you in Boston. Did you happen to see the new Star Trek movie yet? I hear its great. I want to see it so bad. Keep in touch and hope things in radio are going great for you.
Great to hear from you! I hope all is well in Bwwoosstton or thereabouts. Yea, Star was a lot of fun. I always enjoy stations that have the creative juices flowing like you guys did there. Much better, I think, than stations who have only one liner: More music, Less Variety, etc. etc.
Glad to see you're doing great. Keep the fire blazing.
Great to hear from you Chuck! Thank you for your positive comments. I am doing great! I just got back from a trip to San Diego and had 2 sessions with Jim and Penny. Glad to see you on the Universe! I'll keep in touch...Adam
Hi Chuck,
Glad you're enjoying my book. Take it a chapter at a time. There are lots of good tips and tricks in there that need time to sink in.
All the best,
Elaine

HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
I've been in front of a mic as a VO or a broadcaster for almost 30 years now. Freelance VO is my passion, and hopefully my full-time gig very soon.
Just posted all new demos and launched my new website at www.chuckdaviscreative.com
RECENTLY BOOKED PROJECTS
2009 continues to be a good year. So far Q1 is actually better for me than this time last year! Just added 'Club Escape" in Amsterdam, NE to the client list and with them imaging for thier Saturday night mix show "Frambusters" on Radio Decibel. Now I'm heard in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and the Haag. Lots of casino and car work these days too!
VOICE DESCRIPTION
I work well anywere from 20's to 50's in voice-age ranges.
Lots of uptempo/energy reads. I've also been finding that my somewhat quirky "freindly guy" interp is gaining in popularity with some clients.
DIALECTS, Character voices and vocal impressions
Can do a convincing West Texas accent. Client actually asked "are you sure you've never been here?" Also a well researched New England/Boston...comes from working here :)

Just stopped and listened to some of your demos! Very nice work. I really like the contrasts that you show.
See you around the VU.
