HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE: I work with Voice Over LA, Houghton in Atlanta, Moore Creative Talent in Minneapolis Most Recently with BBA and independently. Experienced in Commercials, TV commercial and ADR, Radio, cable, internet and video.
I have worked with Marc Cashman, Terri Apple, Garage247, Tori hartman.
I took a series with Joyce Castelanos and I fell in love! She's amazing and I am looking forward to gettng my promo done SOON! Also worked with Debbie Munro. PLEASE take her workshop when she's in your town. She is EXCELLENT!

Practicing and recording my AudioBook Demo (Inspired by DC Goode)

I have been reading George Washington's War in the booth. It has great drama, suspense, history. It's a long book and I am reading it as practice for my audiobook/narration as well as putting it all together for my demo. I have some grat spots on there but I have gone back to re-record some of the work. Seems like the more I work, the more I practice the more my old stuff doesn't sound so hot. At 11:13am on October 2, 2009, Jim Kipping said…: In booth, each one is the "B" monitor that has been split from from the control room. Meaning I have two separate computers on on each of those computers, we have a multi head monitor out... the B on each get's split (VGA) and spit into the voice booth. That way if I am producing someone in my booth I can put script up and edit on the fly if needed. Or if I am in my booth, I can control both the recording AND script from the booth and not have to keep boppin out to the control room to work transport or script or what ever. I need to take some pics of this and post them. it's been too long.

The digital copy stand is perfect. Found some very inexpensive VGA dongles off of ebay (11 bucks a set) and ran video in the room via CAT5, it really is amazing how much a cheap solution like that can be. I've seen some other powered alternatives for like 100 bucks. Thanks for the add.
