HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT ME AND MY VOICE OVER EXPERIENCE
Adam was born in Philadelphia, PA on June 27. As a young child, Adam loved all animated television programming, especially Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Rugrats, and Ren & Stimpy. While watching these programs, he began to imitate voices of his favorite characters.
This thirst for character development grew with age. Adam continued to have a passion for cartoons, but focused on getting his degree in Communication Studies with a focus on Broadcasting for Television and Radio, at Widener University. Adam joined the TV and Radio clubs and became Vice President of Widener TV during his senior year in 2006-2007. After graduating Widener University, Adam continued his pursuit of broadcasting attending the Connecticut School of Broadcasting, Cherry Hill, NJ branch. Even though he learned so much about TV and Radio, broadcasting was starting to disinterest him. At CSB, copy writing was one of his favorite classes. It was at copy writing class where Adam truly realized that voiceover was something he should explore further. Adam graduated from CSB November 2007, and began his search for a voiceover coach thereafter.
At this point, Adam initiated his quest for voiceover knowledge and began studying with professional VO coaches nationwide: Sharon Eisenhour, Melody Jones, Sunday Muse, Debbie Munro, M.J. Lallo, and his mentor and friend Bob Bergen. Today, Adam has the distinct honor of serving on the VoiceLympics Cruise Crew team and helping any of the coaches where necessary.
His training with Voiceover coach, Melody Jones in her New York studio has expanded his knowledge of the voice acting craft. Adam’s passion for Voiceovers has led him to love all genres in this lucrative field. He now works in Commercials, Internet Recordings, Animation, & Promo.
Currently, Adam works for his father Dr. Edward A. Marcus as a clinical dental assistant by day, and is a voiceover guru by night. To book Adam call 215-968-7806 or email him adam.d.marcus@gmail.com.

Hey Adam....if your microphone is clean and crisp and clear with no noise....stay with it! What brand of chisels did Michelangelo use? Was there a particular paintbrush that DaVinci favored? Who knows? We do know that they were well trained and had exceptional technique...so that's the best investment. I use a Sennheiser 416....for me, it works. It's $1100 at B&H Photo and Video dot com. (good folks to buy from) if it aint broke don't fix it....I would keep putting money in the education and networking kitty for Voice 2010!
Adam, you are an honorary Canadian in my mind, as are all my VU friends. Happy Thanksgiving, we celebrate a littler earlier up here, we just cannot wait until November to sit down and eat! May 15 & 16 is when Bob is coming up and if I can help you out with a place let me know. If you are coming up for Sunday's book signing let me know, the next day is another VO social gathering.
WOW Adam
That sounded AMAZING!
So sorry I missed, I would DEFINITELY like to hear about the next one.
Good luck with your journeys too!
Nice to "meet you" in the universe!
Hey Adam
I am new to the Universe and was wondering what Voicelympics was?
It sounds like something I would be interested in.
Any help would be appreciated.
