Rodney Saulsberry is the voice of many recognizable brands. Saulsberry is the voice of Twix Candy Bars, Zatarain's Cajun Foods, and Instant Tax Services. Rodney has been nominated for an NAACP Image Award in the category of "Outstanding Actor in a Daytime Drama Series".
Rodney Saulsberry is the author of two bestselling books,You Can Bank on Your Voice and Step Up to the Mic. Rodney has just released a new book of vocal warm-ups that applies to the public speaker as much as to the voice over artist, combining limericks, breathing exercises, and difficult phrases into a how to for ensuring that your voice is always ready to stand and deliver. In returning to his musical roots Rodney has released an album called "Better Than Before", which was produced by jazz bassist, Stanley Clarke. His smooth CD is designed to uplift listeners and ensure they are inspired and motivated. Rodney is also known for singing on the Lion King Theme song, Hakuna Matata.
Rodney first came to Los Angeles when he was a part of a national touring company of "Your Arms Too Short to Box With God, which was an instant Broadway success. Rodney then was led to the small screen with roles on “Taxi” (1978), “M*A*S*H” (1972), “Gimme a Break!” (1981), “227″ (1985), “Hill Street Blues” (1981) and “Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman” (1993). Rodney became a part of recurring roles on "The Young and the Restless", and has continued to act on the small screen in, "The Bold and the Beautiful" as Anthony. Additionally has had roles in"Gone Without a Trace" and "Monk".
