Rodney has also been the voice of the 34th annual NAACP Awards and the Essence Music Awards which was a special on FOX Television as well as he has voiced the promotional content for the Grammy Awards and the Country Awards on CBS.

Animation, is another area where Rodney is a very versatile voice actor. Rodney has acted as the voice of Joe Robbie Robertson on the cartoon series Spider-Man and also as James Rhoney Rhodes in the animated feature, The Invincible Iron Man. Rodney has many acting credits under his belt such as Monk, Without a Trace, Law and Order, LA, Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman and is currently on The Bold and the Beautiful as the character of Anthony. In both 2013 and 2011 he also received a NAACP Image Award nomination in the category of Outstanding Actor in a Daytime Drama Series for his role on "The Bold and the Beautiful." Rodney is a gifted singer who has lent his voice to many projects of note including Hakuna Matata on the Lion King movie.
