Welcome to Ask a Geek!

OK, I played around with a few titles for this page, but this one seemed the most appropriate and less pretentious than "Ask a Tech Guru". I will answer questions as I have the time to do so between client service calls, but anyone with helpful information is encouraged to chime in!
Although there are other groups on this great website that focus on technology, there wasn't a place to discuss everything computer in the VO studio (and out). As my focus is on support of Mac OS based computers and networks these days, I prefer staying in that world. However, I do have years of Windows experience under my belt as well, so you can ask about Windows XP issues here. I ask that you direct Windows Vista questions and discussions to the "The 64 Bit Question: Vista?? Audio Software??" group.
We can also chat about the best way to use your equipment together, studio work-flow, acoustics, sound-proofing, and the latest in ISDN and IP communications tech such as Source Connect.
