I am in the info gathering stage after taking a breather from these two sites. Looking for feedback from anyone who's been successful or not with either or both.
Hi,
I am a subscriber to both Voices.com and Voice123. Voices.com has a minimum requirement of $100 per job, where Voice123 has no minimum. I have gotten jobs off both sites...and both have pros and cons.
Voices.com, has a sure pay system, which is great, client has to put a "down payment" on the job when you've accepted and once they have accepted and approved the file(s) they pay the balance, which is nice, because you don't have to chase clients for money. Voice123 you're kinda on your own, I've gotten stiffed only once so far.
Voice123 seems to have more job opportunities, however the jobs are for lower rates. If you like to know how you did, Voice123 has a rating system, "likely to hire", "considering" or "not likely to hire" option for clients to keep track of the artists they like (if/when they use it). It's nice to see where you stand, but disappointing sometimes when you get a "likely to hire" and never hear a word from the client.
Both are good sites and a very valuable tool in getting jobs.
