If you take the Liberty Harbor Cruise, they have an Acoustiguide Audio Tour of Ellis Island and the Statue, sponsored by the National Parks and the NY Times.
As you approach, you hear those famous lines... "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to be free...." which I recite!
Listen to my Audio Tour demo, which I just uploaded (along with 17 other new demos I posted here and at V123). When you look out your window and see her, think of me! I'm located in lower Manhattan, so when I look to the west and see her, I'll think of you!
Which museum does she work for? I used to work at the Guggenheim.... was there last week to see the Kandinsky show and hear myself on the Architectural Tour as the voice of Hilla Rebay writing a letter to Frank Lloyd Wright!
How Cool is that?? The Voice of the the most famous lady in the USA!!!!
If you're in Connecticut on an AT&T Wireline phone I'm the guy that says, "Please Dial the numeral one or zero when making a call beyond the local area...", or "Your call did not go through.." and a hundred more LOL
Now, if I only had a penny each time they get played...
I am the voice of the Ellis Island Museum and do many voices in English and German for the Holocaust Museum. I did the voices for the Statue of Liberty and the Fourth of July Celebrations several years until a new advertising agency took over. We also sang several group jingles connected with that. It was gorgeous music and lovely spots. It came from Dallas producers where I'm based.
Contratulations to you Debbie!!!!
