You’ve been told you’ve got a great voice. But do you know how to use it? Come spend one night a week over four weeks learning how to turn a great voice into multitudes of memorable characters. Local voice actor Jennifer Cameron will take you through a four-week journey as you learn how to do vocal warmups, expand your vocal range, create characters, and bring scripts to life.
The workshops will take place in a fabulous downtown Vancouver rehearsal studio, where you can create in an open space, free to move and concentrate on your voice and its development. You will be working without the constraints of a mic, or the limited access you can have behind it in other settings. Here you will be working for the full two hours of each session.
In addition to expanding your vocal abilities and acting chops, you will also get into the nitty-gritty business side of voice over. Jennifer will share the resources and tips she has gathered in her voice over career so far. Together you’ll discuss your questions and goals, options for working locally and internationally, the process of creating demos, working with an agent and how to market yourself.
